Meet our Doulas
Kaley Davis (The Founder)
I’m so truly glad you’re here. I’m a mama of four beautiful children and someone who believes every family deserves gentle, loving support through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. With a degree in social work and a specialty in trauma-informed care, I hold space with kindness and deep understanding for the emotional journey you’re on. For over two years, I’ve had the honor of supporting more than 180 families, walking beside them with open hearts and open arms. I live in Newport and pour my passion into nurturing families in a way that honors their unique stories and needs. I’m a Certified Birth Educator, Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, End of Life Doula, and Certified in Safe Sleep—and I’m the founder of Branches of Birth, a place where love, respect, and holistic care grow together. I can’t wait to meet you and support you with all the love and care you deserve.
Our Doulas
Rosemary - I’m a proud mom of three wonderful children, one in heaven and two Earth-side. My journey through motherhood has been filled with both immense joy and profound heartache. Losing my sweet son to childhood cancer at the age of three forever shaped my perspective on life, love, and the power of presence. Before becoming a doula, I graduated dental school and worked in the dental field; where I learned the importance of gentle communication, trust, and compassionate patient care. Those same values now guide me in my doula work, as I strive to create a safe, nurturing space where families feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their birthing journey. I believe every birth story is sacred and that every parent deserves care that honors both the strength and vulnerability of this transformative time. It’s my honor to walk beside you—offering calm reassurance, evidence-based guidance, and heartfelt support every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you.
Elizabeth-Giving birth to my daughter is what led me to want to become a doula. I had intense anxiety throughout my pregnancy and leading up to my daughter's birth. I was truly so scared to give birth, I constantly thought of the “what if’s.” I was induced at 37 weeks and felt incredibly nervous, but having my own doula by my side made all the difference. She guided me, grounded me, and helped me feel safe and supported. I ended up loving my birth experience so much, because I felt so empowered. The moment after I gave birth, I knew that I wanted to help other women feel the same way, supported, heard, and empowered. I have over eight years of experience of working with children and families, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm in unpredictable situations, empathize with others, and be patient. I am passionate about creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgement free. I want you to feel cared for, and heard throughout this beautiful journey.
I’m Zoey, a proud mama of two little boys, with a passionate love for mothers and babies. From playing with dolls as a child to becoming a mother myself, my passion for pregnancy, birth, and motherhood has only grown stronger. I truly believe the journey into parenthood is one of the most powerful and beautiful experiences, and every family deserves support that is personalized, compassionate, and centered around them. I bring both professional knowledge and real-life understanding into my work. I am a certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, and Childbirth Educator. I am based in MA and am happy to travel to support families almost anywhere in MA or RI! It would truly be an honor to walk alongside you during this special time, offering guidance, comfort, and care every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you and support you with all the love and dedication you deserve.
